Application of Hybrid Lidar-Radar Technology to a Laser Line Scan System

Abstract

LONG-TERM GOALS. The long term goal of this program is to improve the CSS/Raytheon Electro-Optic Identification (EOID) Sensor performance in turbid water and high solar background environments. OBJECTIVES. The objective of this program is to investigate the application of hybrid lidar-radar technology to a laser line scan system to enhance detection sensitivity in turbid water and high solar background environments. The results will be transitioned to the CSS/Raytheon EOID Sensor Project for mine identification.
