A Preliminary Comparison of the Gridgen and the Eagle Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Gridding Packages

Abstract

A review of the merits of the GRIDGEN computational fluid dynamics (CFD) gridding package is presented. A review is also made of the EAGLE gridding package. The two packages are compared for CFD problems of interest to the Navy, and conclusions are drawn for both short-term and long-term solutions.
