Staff Study Operation King-Two Muskeeter Operations
Abstract
The attached Staff Study is circulated to agencies of this Headquarters and to major supporting and subordinate commanders. It contains coordinated data resulting from joint planning by staffs of the participating agencies and will be. used as a basis for GHQ' directives for the operation, but is not of itself a directive. While constituting a general planning control of the larger phases of coordinated action, the Staff Study is not designed to restrict subordinate executing agencies in development of the final plan of operation based upon GHQ directives which will be published at an early date. Detailed coordination of the planning of the operation will be as proscribed in Warning Instructions No. 5, this Headquarters, 31 August 1944, and Warning Order, radiogram, this Headquarters, CX-17760, dated 15 September 1944.
