Glow Discharge Stability in Pulsed Electric Lasers

Abstract

The work reported in this paper is part of an ongoing effort among the Air Force Weapons Laboratory (AFWL), Tetra Corporation, and Ecodynamics Research Associates, Inc. to model electric fields in pulsed power devices and to understand glow discharge stability. The two companion pa~ers discuss our progress in electric field modeling, while here we discuss progress in the glow discharge stability problem.
