Abstract

The shallow unconfined aquifer in the Boise, Idaho area commonly consists of coarse, unconsolidated Quaternary braided-stream deposits (Qal) over unconsolidated late-Tertiary sands with clay or tight silt zone (TGF) forming a local base to the variability of the system is applicable to site investigations, modeling and remediation designs.
