In Vitro Mutagenicity Testing of WR6026 Hydrochloride

Abstract

WR6026 Hydrochloride was tested for point mutations and chromosomal aberrations in three in vitro mutagenicity tests. WR6026 Hydrochloride was shown to be negative in the Ames Test, the Mouse Lymphoma Assay, and the Chromosome Aberration Test using Chinese Hamster Ovary ceils. Accordingly, the drug does not appear to represent a genotoxic hazard, and follow-up studies are not warranted
