Abstract

This report presents a detailed description of recent advancements made in testing techniques for filament reinforced plastics which have occurred since the last test methods symposium held in May l962. The report presents all of the technical papers available given at the Air Force Materials Laboratory-American Society for Testing and Materials Test Methods Symposium held September 21 to 23, l966 at the Sheraton-Dayton Hotel, Dayton, Ohio and was designed to serve as a basis for discussions at this symposium. The subject matter is arranged in order of presentation in four specific categories: I-Testing Techniques, II-Fatigue Testing, III-Testing Techniques for Design, and IV-Nondestructive Testing.
