Standards for Gun Tube Drawings

Abstract

This set of standards is prepared so that there will be on record a listing of the gun tube drawings required and the details pertaining to each, so that a uniform practice can be followed in their preparation. It is visualized that the standard drawings will cover practically all cases; however, there may be some instances that will not fall within their scope (e.g., - when rough castings are shipped, a special drawing will be needed to cover exactly the details as may We specified in the production order). The requirement for special drawings should be taken up with the Gun Division.
