Grain Traffic Analysis to Accompany Great Lakes Harbors Study.

Abstract

As a supporting document to the Great Lakes Harbors Study, this report is used to determine the advisability of additional harbor improvements for deep draft commerce. It examines existing grain production, sales distribution, and exports lakewise grain traffic, exports of grain at U.S. Great Lakes harbors. It presents a transportation cost analysis, and predicts future U.S. grain exports and Great Lakes grain exports. (Author)
