Viscoelastic Properties of Preswollen Polymer Networks in the Transition Region.

Abstract

VISCOELASTIC PROPERTIES OF PRESWOLLEN POLYMETHYL METHACRYLATE AND POLYSTYRENE IN THE TRANSITIONS REGION WERE STUDIED BY MODULUS-TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS. INFLECTION TEMPERATURES AND TRANSITION REGION SLOPES FOR A SERIES OF DILUENT CONTENTS WERE DETERMINED. THEY WERE FOUND TO BE SIMILAR TO THOSE OF PLASTICIZED POLYVINYL CHLORIDE. (AUTHOR-PL).
