Measurement of Random Scission by Stress Relaxation in Polysulfide and Other Networks: Weak Linkages.

Abstract

STRESS RELAXATION DATA WERE USED IN AN EMPIRICAL EQUATION TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF CROSSLINKING AND CHAIN SCISSION IN POLYSULFIDE AND POLYURETHANE MOLECULAR NETWORKS. THE CALCULATED VALUES WERE ALSO COMPARED TO THOSE WHICH WOULD BE OBTAINED FROM A THEORETICAL EQUATION. (LS-PL).
