A Rapid Molecular Weight Determination for Linear Polyethylene.

Abstract

The molecular weight of polymers of over 100,000 can be determined by using the 10 second Gehman Modulus at 150 C. This method is not absolute but is both rapid and convenient. Experiments were conducted on linear polyethylene. (Author-PL).
