Abstract

CONTINUING WORK EFFORTS IN STUDIES OF THE STRESS RELAXATION MODULUS ER(T) FOR POLYSTYRENE IN THE RUBBERY FLOW REGION ARE REPORTED. IN THIS REPORT PERIOD SPECIAL ATTENTION WAS GIVEN TO THE RELATION OF ER(T) TO MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION OF MONODISPERSE POLYSTYRENE SAMPLES FROM BOTH THE DOW AND MONSANTO CHEMICAL COMPANIES.
