Covered Electrodes 1/4 Inch Structural Nickel Plate. Fillet Welds.
Abstract
The tests of fillet welds covered by this report were made to determine - (1) The strengths of 3/16 inch, 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch fillets on 3/1 6 inch and 1/4 inch structural nickel plate. (2) The best electrode to use for practical purposes. (3) The proper current and voltage to use for best results. (4) An approximate comparison of welding speeds between bare and covered electrodes.
