Welding of Monel Metal

Abstract

Test were conducted to determine the characteristics of welded monel metal with the object of fabricating feed-water tanks. Monel metal sheets were welded with monel metal electrodes to form various types of joints. These joints were tested for physical properties, and corrosion resistance in the salt spray.
