Charpy V-Notch Impact Properties of Rolled Homogeneous Armor Produced by Standard Steel Spring Company.
Abstract
This 1944 report contains data supplied by the laboratory of Standard Steel Spring Co. on the impact properties of homogeneous rolled armor presently being produced by that company. These data, which were obtained from specimens cut from numerous ballistic test plates which were processed during the period March-July 1944. It is indicated that the impact values obtained are, in general, representative of well heat treated, properly cross-rolled homogeneous armor.
