Metallurgical Examination of Twelve 1 Inch Cast Homogeneous Armor Plates of Varying Hardnesses Manufactured by Lebanon Steel Foundry
Abstract
A metallurgical examination has been completed on twelve (12) 1 inch cast homogeneous armor plates manufactured by Lebanon Steel Foundry. The plates were heat treated similarly except for the final tempering temperatures which were varied to give the hardnesses desired.
