Binders in Cemented Refractory Alloys

Abstract

The object of this program was to make a detailed study of the action of the binder phase in cemented wolfram carbide alloys with the objective of explaining the several factors which control the physical and mechanical properties of the sintered parts and to provide a basis for the proper selection of the best binder materials and sintering techniques for specific situations.
