Adhesion and Bonding of Coatings.
Abstract
A number of qualitative adhesion tests were performed in order to obtain an indication of factors that could possibly affect adhesion, and the results showed that the grain orientation of the base metal and the degree of strain of the base metal may have an appreciable influence on adhesion. As a result, a quantitative test has been developed.
