Abstract
The object of this study was to make make a metallurgical examination of eleven (11) one-inch cast armor test plates manufactured by Kelsey-Hayes Wheel Co. to determine if the hardness variations in the series of armor plates were responsible for the observed differences in their ballistic behavior.
