Armor - Preliminary Study of the Effect of Several Alloying Elements and Addition Agents Upon the Metallurgical Properties of Manganese-Molybdenum Steel Used in Armor,

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of small amounts of tin, titanium, tellurium, selenium, zirconium, columbium, boron, and four commercial types of addition agents on the hardenability, V-notched Charpy impact properties, physical properties, and microstructure of a 0.30% carbon manganese-molybdenum type of steel.
