Generalized Acoustic Sensor Operator Training: Visual. Phase I.

Abstract

This report describes the initial findings of a task to determine the feasibility and desirability of common-core generalizable acoustic sensor operator training. A subset of air, surface, and subsurface acoustic equipment s was investigated to ascertain common characteristics of functions and displays. A milestone schdule for the seocnd phae of the task, to describe and specify a common-core training system, is included.
