Defense Acquisition Management Data System (DAMDS) Code Translation for Computer Listings, Fiscal Year 1974.

Abstract

DAMDS is developed from data submitted by components of the Department of Defense (DoD) on all contract actions over $10,000. These data are available on computer listings which have been sorted either by contractor name (alphabetical) or by place of performance (geographic). The first line of each entry (Line 1) identifies the contractor and the place of performance ad provides the associated contractor, city, and state or foreign country codes. Data on each individual award to that contractor are then displayed on a single line (Line 2). A summary of the Line 2 column headings, the data elements shown in each column, and the page in this manual on which each is explained begins on page 2. This manual is intended to assist the user of these computer listings in understanding the range of data presented.
