Abstract
This translation of a Soviet document presents papers which set forth results obtained in the work of the Institute of Metalloceramics and Special Alloys of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of powder metallurgy (metalloceramics), with emphasis on the results of investigations of the physicochemical properties of the materials used in the fabrication of metalloceramic products; it presents descriptive material pertaining to new metalloceramic materials having special properties and to the technique of their preparation, and, further, to the methods and results of tests performed to determine the mechanical properties of metalloceramic materials.
