Electromagnetic Compatability. Revision.

Abstract

This test plan defines the limits of and details the procedures for determining the degree of electromagnetic compatibility between several electrical-electronic systems comprising the basic U. S. Army CH-47C and those systems peculiar to the CH-47C being proposed by the RAAF. Tests are also described for the Advanced Flight Control System. All elements of the included systems are exercised over their operating range both actively and passively. The systems' operation is monitored to detect malfunctions during tests. The tests are performed in an RFI free hangar and in flight to provide comprehensive examination of possible problem areas.
