Abstract

Nine samples of 2-1/4 in. thick rolled homogeneous armor plate as a part of the effect of hardness program were subjected to a metallurgical examination including fracture tests, hardness surveys, macroscopic and microscopic examination, hardenability tests and chemical analysis.
