Thermalibrium Headgear Assembly. Phase I. Design Study.

Abstract

The design objectives of the ultimate headgear assembly are excerpted from the contract as follows: (1) Compatible with the concept for the U.S. Army experimental thermalibrium ensemble, (2) Ballistic and fragmentation protection equivalent to or better than that provided by the standard M-1 steel helmet, and (3) Protection from CBR agents equivalent to that provided by the U.S. Army Chemical Corps gun mask M-17.
