Tables for Computing Horizontal Distance of Pilot Balloons (100 Gram) For Use with the ML-462 ( )/UM-Nozzle.

Abstract

Tables are provided for determining the horizontal component of a 100-gram pilot balloon's distance from the theodolite at any given whole minute after the balloon is released. To determine horizontal distances for fractions of whole minutes, interpolation is required.
