Evaluation of Tests for Cermets as Components of Heat-Resistant Materials.

Abstract

Cermet specimens will be used at room temperature for determining strength in flexure, modulus of elasticity, and Poisson's ratio. Portions of these specimens will be used for determinations of porosity and strength in compression. The design of cermet specimens for tensile testing will depend on the results of photoelastic studies.
