Report on Test Excavations at The Sandy Lake Dam, Minnesota,
Abstract
Test excavations conducted at the Sandy Lake Dam, Aitkin County, Minnesota indicate the presence of late prehistoric archaeological site in the area of a proposed comfort station. Earth piles previously created in the construction of a sewage treatment plant also produced stone chips and pottery fragments. (Author)
