New Blackout Headlamp,

Abstract

This report describes a new blackout headlamp designed for economy of materials and minimum use of critical materials. The new headlamp consists of 32-candlepower standard automotive lamp bulb and a small mirror reflector mounted within a metal housing which has a hood attached at the front. The driving beam is emitted through a triangular shaped opening in the face of the housing.
