Sectionalized Plywood, Petroleum Barges,

Abstract

This report covers the tests of a plywood barge for the transportation of petroleum products or deck loads. It recommends one of the designs tested as satisfactory for this purpose. It finds three types of cell linings which will prevent the leakage of gasoline. It further finds that a section of the barge may be used for fuel storage.
