A Survey Level Report of the Ditch 61 Channel Clearing Project, Poinsett County, Arkansas.
Abstract
An intensive survey for prehistoric, historic, and architectural properties within the Ditch 61 Channel Clearing Project located in Poinsett Co., AR was conducted in July and August, 1978. The study methods included a review of published literature a review of county, state, and federal archival sources, a cartographic review, and an intensive field examination of the project area. Only one cultural site, a trash dump of recent origin, was documented. It has been determined that this site is not significant in terms of National Register criteria of eligibility.
