A Cultural Resources Survey of the Barfield Scour Area Barfield, Mississippi County, Arkansas.

Abstract

On 22 September 1980, an intensive cultural resources survey was conducted by the Environmental Resources Section of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District over approximately four acres of scour area and adjacent land near Barfield, Arkansas. This item included two scour holes and an equipment tracking area between them. A literature search and a pedestrian survey failed to locate any prehistoric, historic, or architectural sites within the project right of way.
