A Cultural Resource Survey of Peafield Outlet Ditch, Item Number R-945D, Mississippi County, Missouri.

Abstract

This report is the result of a survey level cultural resource investigate of Peafield Outlet Ditch, Item No. R-945D in Mississippi Co., MO. The in-field survey was conducted by the Environmental Resources Section of the US Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District during December 1977. A literature search personal interviews with local residents, and an in-field survey failed to locate any archeological, historic, or architectural sites within the the project boundaries. It is recommended that this project be cleared to proceed as planned.
