A Cultural Resources Survey of Dudley Bridge and Lick Creek at Mile 11.65, Stoddard County, Missouri.

Abstract

On 29 September 1982, an intensive cultural resources survey was conducted by the Environmental Branch of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District over approximately one acre. The project is located near Dudley, Stoddard County, Missouri, Township 25N, Range 9E, Section 3 NE1/4, NE1/4 of the Puxico Quadrangle. The proposed project includes repairing eroded areas upstream and downstream, and beneath the existing bridge. A literature search and a pedestrian survey failed to locate any prehistoric, historic, or architectural sites within the project right-of-way.
