A Cultural Resources Reconnaissance of the Helena, Arkansas and Vicinity Project Phillips County, Arkansas.

Abstract

A reconnaissance for prehistoric, historic, and architectural resources was conducted during June 1981 for the Helena, AR, and vicinity project located in northeastern Phillips Co., AR. The study methods included a review of published literature, examination of archival sources, a cartographic review, interviews with persons knowledgeable of the area, and field examination of selected portions of the proposed impact area.
