Removal of Trace Organics from Groundwater Using Granular Activated Carbons.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of using granular activated carbon for the removal of dissolved organics from ground water. The primary contaminant considered during the testing program was dimp. The final report and addendum investigated the treatability of bog water and well water respectively. The testing procedure, results, and recommendations are presented.
