OPERATION ARGUS. Surface Measurements - PROJECT MIDAS

Abstract

The objective was to make surface measurements of the electromagnetic and optical effects in the detonation area (South Atlantic) and in the area geomagnetically conjugate (Azores) during the Argus experiment. The project participated in three events - Argus I, II, and III. Keywords include: High altitude nuclear explosions, Electromagnetic effects, Optical effects, and NTPR(Nuclear Test Personnel Review).
