SST Technology Follow-On Program-Phase 2. ADEDS Functional/Software Requirements

Abstract

The advanced electronic display system (ADEDS) task of the SST technology Follow-On Program includes the formal definition and documentation of the functional and software requirements for mechanization of the display and navigation systems. This report defines these functional and software requirements as they existed at the time of equipment delivery. Revisions to these requirements will be provided as part to the ADEDS flight test report (FAA-SS-73-22) to be released in mid-1974. The report provides an ADEDS overview, followed by detailed definition of the multifunction display, bulk data storage, electronic attitude director indicator, four-dimensional guidance, navigation control and display unit, and navigation and subsidiary function requirements.
