Corrosion Control at Graphite/Epoxy-Aluminum and Titanium Interfaces

Abstract

A test program was conducted to develop and evaluate corrosion protection systems for use on graphite/epoxy-aluminum and graphite/ epoxy- titanium joints. The joint specimens were prepared in duplicate and protected with several corrosion protection systems including epoxy polyamide primer(MIL- P- 23377C), inhibited polysulfide sealant,and a linear polyure-thane topcoat.
