Calibrations of Angle-of-Attack, Angle-of-Sideslip, and Pitot-Static Pressure Sensors on the Modular-Guided Glide Bomb II at Transonic Mach Numbers

Abstract

Wind tunnel tests were conducted at Mach numbers from 0.50 to 1.50 to provide a calibration of the MGGB-II aerodynamic sensor systems and to determine the calibration sensitivity of these sensor systems to flight test hardware. Data indicated that, in addition to bench test calibrations for the sensors, aerodynamic calibrations are required to provide a complete sensor calibration package.
