Airblast Calculations for Advanced Missile System (MX) Support

Abstract

A series of theoretical calculations of the air blast resulting from a 1 megaton (MT) detonation has been conducted. The calculations include the free air environment and propagation through a smooth tunnel with various inlet pressures. One calculation also included corrugated walls. The various results are compared.
