Generic FACT

Abstract

A Generic Sonar Model is used to investigate predictions generated by the Fast Asymptotic Coherent Transmission (FACT) Loss Model. Results indicate that FACT may produce questionable results in certain special situations. Possible improvements to FACT are suggested.
