Long Life Nd:YAG Laser Device

Abstract

The developed electrodeless lamp is compatible with conductive cooling. It has been demonstrated that the life of such a lamp has been greater than 1000 hours of operation. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that an output of one watt multimode at 1.06 micron can be achieved for an input of 215 watts of RF power to the lamp.
