Cryogenic Airborne Interferometer

Abstract

This report gives a comprehensive account of the development of a cryogenically-cooled interferometer, suitable for use in a balloon at altitude and at L/N temperature. The instrument has been designed to operate in the spectral region from 2 to 14 microns, and is the so-called cat's-eye optical configuration.
