Air-to-Ground Gunnery Simulation Computer Program - P0655
Abstract
This gun simulation program is a research contribution which employs a Monte Carlo technique to determine the probability of destroying a rectangular target with air-to-ground gunnery. The effect of correlation of successive aim points is considered and bivariate normal aiming error and ballistic dispersion are assumed. The mathematical derivation, FORTRAN program listing, variable list, flow chart, sample deck set-ups, and output results are included.
