Siloxane-Modified Polycarbonate Intermediates and Monomers

Abstract

Methods of synthesis of intermediates and monomers for the synthesis of siloxane-modified polycarbonates are described. All substances are appropriately characterized. Precursors of polymers with both M-phenylene and P- phenylene moieties as well as precursors of polymers with disiloxanylene, trisiloxanylene, and tetrasiloxanylene groupings are reported.
