A Simplified Methodology for Computing Chemical Hazard Distances

Abstract

A simplified methodology is developed for solution to the Gaussian diffusion model when affected by an inversion cap. The Pasquill stability categories are used to characterize atmospheric stability. Distance assessment is made for a specified dosage from a point source release at ground level. Fortran and pocket calculator programs are included.
