Smoke Test of the Grenade, RP, L8A1 (Phase IIb). Volume I.

Abstract

A series of eight tests were performed to quantify the screening characteristics of the L8A1 RP Grenade. Physical and optical parameters (e.g., cloud density, particle size distribution, transmittance, cloud luminance and extinction coefficient) were obtained utilizing recently developed Dugway Proving Ground methodologies.
